Their Story:
I love that Zach and Matisse were brought together at Classic Skating. While on a skate date with another girl, Zach found himself more interested in getting Matisse’s number. The two hit it off and after an action packed 8 months of dating and courtship, Zach popped the question. The two celebrated their day with a Salt Lake Temple Wedding and a gorgeous backyard reception in Alpine. The love from all of their families and friends was so apparent all day long.
Their Day:
The details of the day were all absolutely perfect. The color scheme chosen included tones of green, dusty blue, white and soft peach . I loved that all of the bridesmaids wore white dresses, the dresses didn’t compete with the bride’s dress and they all looked stunning and so classic! Matisse picked out a gorgeous cathedral length veil and the soft wind that day complimented it so well. The reception was decorated so beautifully, there was a dance floor, fire pit, tables, delicious food, and one of the biggest attractions was a Photo Booth for the guests to get pictures at. Being the oldest of five daughters in the family and the first one to be married it was a big day full of firsts for the brides family. Growing up there had been a family joke that their dad would either make their cake or their dress to save on money for all of the weddings. Matisse remembered the joke and took her dad up on it! He did an amazing job at creating such a perfect cake. Their day ended with a beautiful sparkler and confetti exit.
